Batman (1989) – The Dark Knight of Gotham City begins his war on crime with his first major enemy being the clownishly homicidal Joker.




Saw V (2008) – Following Jigsaw’s grisly demise, Mark Hoffman, the final apprentice to the serial killer is deigned a hero. Meanwhile, Agent Strahm continues to track Hoffman while another group of strangers are put through a series of gruesome traps.




Underworld: Evolution (2006) – Picking up directly from the previous film, vampire warrior Selene and the half werewolf Michael hunt for clues to reveal the history of their races and the war between them.


Alive (1993) – Uruguayan rugby team stranded in the snow swept Andes are forced to use desperate measures to survive after a plane crash.




Anacondas: The Hunt For Blood Orchid (2004) – A scientific expedition sets out for Borneo to seek a flower called the Blood Orchid, which could grant longer life. Meanwhile, they run afoul of snakes and each other.


Kung Fu Hustle (2004) – In Shanghai, China in the 1940s, a wannabe gangster aspires to join the notorious “Axe Gang” while residents of a housing complex exhibit extraordinary powers in defending their turf.




Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey (1991) – A tyrant from the future creates evil android doubles of Bill and Ted and sends them back to eliminate the originals.


S.F.W. (1994) – An alienated and misanthropic teenager gains sudden and unwanted celebrity status after he’s taken hostage by terrorists where his indifference to their threats to kill him makes news headlines.


48 Hours (1982) – A hard-nosed cop reluctantly teams up with a wise-cracking criminal temporarily paroled to him, in order to track down a killer.


The Delta Force (1986) – A 707 aircraft jetliner on its way from Athens to Rome and then to New York City is hijacked by Lebanese terrorists. The terrorists demand that the pilot take them to Beirut. What the terrorists don’t realize is that an elite team of commandos led by Major McCoy and by Colonel Alexander as been called into service to eliminate all terrorists on the jetliner and who’s involved in the hijacking and try to retake the plane before the terrorists kill all the hostages


Street Smart (1987) – A New York journalist lies when his fake story about a pimp describes a real pimp up for murder.


Mr. Mom (1983) – After he’s laid off, a husband switches roles with his wife. She returns to the workforce and he becomes a stay-at-home dad – a job he has no clue how to do.


Almost Famous (2000) – A high-school boy is given the chance to write a story for Rolling Stone Magazine about an up-and-coming rock band as he accompanies it on their concert tour.


Dutch (1991) – To get to know his girlfriend’s son, a working-class good guy volunteers to pick him up from a prep school – only to learn that her son isn’t the nicest kid.


Some Kind Of Hero (1982) – A Vietnam vet returns home from a prisoner of war camp and is greeted as a hero, but is quickly forgotten and soon discovers how tough survival is in his own country.


Uncommon Valor (1983) – Ten years after his son went MIA in Vietnam, U.S.Marine retired Colonel Jason Rhodes assembles a private rescue team to find Americans held in POW camps in Laos.


Hombre (1967) – John Russell, disdained by his “respectable” fellow stagecoach passengers because he was raised by Indians, becomes their only hope for survival when they are set upon by outlaws.


Butch Cassidy And The Sundance Kid (1969) – Two Western bank/train robbers flee to Bolivia when the law gets too close.


House Of The Rising Sun (2011) – Ray, an ex-con, is starting a new life looking to stay out of trouble. One evening, on Ray’s watch, the nightclub he works for is robbed and the owner’s son is shot dead. As his criminal past is exposed Ray hunts for the person responsible for this crime in an effort to clear his own name. Ray must get to the bottom of this as both the mob and cops start to close in on him as their target suspect.

Conan The Barbarian (1982) – A vengeful barbarian warrior sets off to avenge his tribe and his parents whom were slain by an evil sorcerer and his warriors when he was a boy.


Flashdance (1983) – A Pittsburgh woman with two jobs as a welder and an exotic dancer wants to get into ballet school.




The Terminator (1984) – A human-looking indestructible cyborg is sent from 2029 to 1984 to assassinate a waitress, whose unborn son will lead humanity in a war against the machines, while a soldier from that war is sent to protect her at all costs.


Captive (2012) –  Follows the hostage crisis of the Dos Palmas kidnappings in the southern Philippines, the life of the hostages whose survivors were freed after an awful year in captivity.




Scary Movie (2000) – A year after disposing the body of a man they accidentally killed, a group of dumb teenagers are stalked by a bumbling serial killer.
