Say what you want about the man, but for me, a new Tarantino film is going to be THE event of the year it is released. Prior to the internet, we wouldn’t hear about a film until trailers started showing up on TV. In a lot of ways, technology has made it harder to wait for movies we’re dying to see. We hear about them before production even begins. Hell, half of the time we’re told about them before the writer has even started the script. We’ve been hearing about Tarantino’s new film The Hateful Eight for two years now, and information has slowly trickled onto the internet. We saw tons of production photos, and even a leaked teaser trailer that showed no footage from the film. Well, the wait is finally over, as the official teaser trailer for Quentin Tarantino’s THE HATEFUL EIGHT has been unleashed upon us, and it is awesome. Hawk-eyed viewers will notice several classic horror movie references in this teaser alone. It’s going to be a wild ride, that’s for certain. Quentin Tarantino’s THE HATEFUL EIGHT will be screening in 70mm in select theaters starting on Christmas Day, with a worldwide rollout on January 8th, 2016. Peep the trailer below, and prepare to watch it numerous times while we wait in agony to finally get a chance to see this bad boy.
